Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) – Contract Opportunity

Location: Brantford, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week

Compensation: $39.00- $45.00 per hour

Workplace Medical Corp. is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) to provide onsite occupational health services at a large, modern workplace in Brantford, Ontario.

This opportunity is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently and is passionate about injury prevention, employee wellness, disability management, and health promotion. As the onsite Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting employee health, safety, and wellbeing while helping foster a proactive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first aid and nursing care for workplace injuries and illnesses
- Conduct health assessments and support early intervention strategies
- Coordinate return-to-work and modified duty programs
- Manage occupational and non-occupational injury and illness cases
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Conduct basic musculoskeletal assessments and provide injury prevention education
- Participate in ergonomic and wellness initiatives
- Support medical surveillance activities, health screenings, and wellness campaigns
- Collaborate with employees, healthcare providers,



leadership, and Workplace Medical Corp.

Qualifications

Required

- Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- A minimum of one year direct Occupational Health Nursing experience
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred

- Experience with WSIB, disability management, and return-to-work programs
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation
- COHN(C) certification is an asset
