Role Description Onsite Greenroof and Paver skilled installers and labourers at Les Jardins Greenroofs Ltd. support the construction and installation of green roofs, blue roof systems, and paver assemblies in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing rooftops and decks, handling materials, installing modular tray systems, planting vegetation, placing pavers and risers, and assisting with specialty finishes. Team members follow site plans and construction drawings, operate hand and power tools, and ensure proper drainage, waterproofing protection,



and stormwater management features are correctly installed.

Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, maintaining a safe and clean job site, adhering to safety regulations, and collaborating with supervisors and project managers to meet project timelines and quality standards. Labourers may also support basic maintenance activities such as weeding, irrigation adjustments, and minor repairs on existing installations.

Qualifications

- Experience in construction, landscaping, roofing, or related trades, with skills in material handling, site preparation, and basic installation techniques.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions, including familiarity with fall protection, lifting practices, and general job-site safety procedures.
- Competence with common hand and power tools used for paver installation, green roof systems, and general construction tasks.
- Solid teamwork, communication, and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions, read basic plans, and coordinate effectively with site supervisors.
- Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Interest in sustainable building practices, stormwater management, and green infrastructure; prior experience with green roofs or paver systems is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to job sites within the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area.
