As a Planner, your primary mandate will be to be responsible for operational planning directly within a production unit. Based on the master plan defined by the Strategic Planner, you will organize assembly line production, prepare the required documentation, and ensure that all material requirements and purchases are in place for seamless execution. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

- Plan production and other projects according to the Strategic Planner’s directives;

- Create project work orders for production;

- Plan picking lists for warehouse teams;

- Verify component availability, including long lead-time parts, and initiate purchase requests or follow-ups with the procurement team;

- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, adjust planning, and coordinate with the individuals concerned;

- Ensure priorities are respected and that information flows efficiently;

- Identify operational issues (material shortages, delays, non-conformities) and propose solutions;





- Participate in the continuous improvement of planning, documentation, and internal coordination processes;

- Respond promptly to production-related change requests;

- Analyze and document variances between project plans and actual results, and identify findings or recommendations;

- Work closely with the various departments;

- Perform any other related duties.

REQUIREMENTS

- Hold a vocational studies diploma or any other equivalent training;

- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;

- Knowledge of the control panel manufacturing industry (asset);

- Be comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite, intermediate to advanced level;

- Be comfortable using ERP-type systems, e.g., Prextra, Brightwork 365 (asset);

- Have a valuable command of French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate with our partners outside Quebec.
