The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers is currently recruiting Red Seal Powerline Technicians to work with one of our contractors, Fidelity Utilities Inc., on projects in the Essex/Kent area of Ontario.
The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is a progressive, member-driven union representing highly skilled tradespeople across Canada.
The Details
- Start: Monday, October 13, 2026
- Duration: 16 months
- Schedule: 4x10s, Monday to Thursday
- Agreement: CUSW
- Travel/Board: Yes. LOA as per the Collective Agreement
Compensation: $71.16/hr total package The Work Distribution line replacement built to Hydro One (HONi) standards, including:
- Pole replacements
- Insulator replacements
- Guy guards and related line work
Work Workplace Climbing and working aloft, outdoor and physical work, with some off-road work.
Requirements
- Powerline Technician Trade Certificate
- AZ or DZlicence
- Tools as per the Collective Agreement
