Responsibilities

- Accountable for continuing a job in press according to schedule.
- Follow QDC procedure steps as per PRO61-10 and PRO62-10.
- Conduct regular checks to be performed while press is running.
- Responsible for completion of daily production sheet and other paperwork as required in a timely manner.
- Keep checkingchanging heat code & date stamp as required.
- Responsible for pulling a die/stamp when job is complete or as required.
- Always ensure bins are accurately tagged.
- Do regular safety checks on presses.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts.
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.

Requirements

- Grade 12 or equivalent work experience.
- Must show some mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to load coil from coil car to feeder.
- Ability to start new coil through die.
- Ability to participate in all aspects of quick die change.
- Ability to use SmartPac and Spectrum Systems.
- Ability to remove old coil/strip from die.




- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural and quick paced environment
