Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Pump Repair Coordinator to join its service operations team in Burlington. This is a technical, customer-facing coordination role supporting the repair and overhaul of pumps and other rotating equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the technical realities of pump repair and enjoys bringing structure, communication and problem-solving to complex service work.

Position Description As Pump Repair Coordinator, you will act as an significant link between customers, service operations, technical resources, suppliers and subcontractors.

You will manage work-in-progress and service backlog, establish priorities, prepare technical quotations and reports, coordinate the documentation and resources required for repair work, and help troubleshoot technical or process-related issues as they arise.

The role combines pump and rotating-equipment knowledge with project coordination, technical documentation, customer communication and service-centre planning .

Coordinate the service centre’s work-in-progress and backlog, helping ensure customer repair work is completed accurately and on schedule.

Prepare detailed technical quotations, including appropriate pricing, scope and commercial requirements.





Develop technical reports and consolidate findings from internal resources and subcontracted service providers.

Prepare project schedules and Gantt charts for complex repairs, overhauls and related projects.

Work closely with operations to establish priorities and confirm that the required tooling, materials, technical information and documentation are available.

Coordinate subcontracted work and follow up with external service providers to maintain project schedules.

Support the planning and execution of projects involving new and existing production or service requirements.

Identify and help resolve tooling, processing and repair-related challenges.

Liaise with suppliers regarding raw materials, tooling and other technical requirements.

Investigate specific processing or repair problems and assist in developing practical solutions.

Follow up with customers regarding the reliability and performance of repaired components and completed service work.

Develop, review and update processes, work instructions and technical procedures to ensure they accurately reflect current practices.

Review drawings and technical information to confirm proposed work can be effectively manufactured, repaired or executed.

Collect and analyze technical data related to equipment and system performance.

Estimate timelines for development, fabrication, construction, overhaul and repair activities.

Help determine appropriate materials, equipment, codes and standards for assigned work.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical logbook entries and supporting documentation.

Participate in capacity, scheduling and backlog meetings and coordinate resulting actions.

Provide technical support to production and service personnel.

Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable health, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience in a rotating equipment service, repair or overhaul environment.

Direct experience working with pumps is required.





A strong practical understanding of pump repair, rotating equipment and associated service processes.

Experience coordinating repair work, service projects, production activities or technically complex customer requirements.

The ability to take precise measurements using appropriate inspection equipment and techniques.

Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and related documentation.

Strong technical writing skills, including experience preparing quotations, reports, work instructions or other service documentation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.

Exposure to statistical analysis tools and/or computer-assisted design, manufacturing or machining applications.

A university degree or college diploma in engineering, engineering technology or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

The ability to organize multiple priorities, troubleshoot technical problems and work effectively with operations, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Flexibility to work additional hours when operational or customer requirements make this necessary.

Most importantly, you bring enough hands‑on pump and rotating‑equipment knowledge to understand what is happening on the service floor, communicate credibly with technical personnel and customers, and keep repair projects moving toward successful completion.

Education A university degree or college diploma in engineering, engineering technology or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
