POSITION OVERVIEW

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is pleasedto offer an exciting opportunity to join our Information Management andTechnology Division as a Records Quality Reviewer 2. We are seeking one (2)incumbent who are committed to upholding a high level of accuracy, integrity,and excellence in policing records. As part of the Corporate Services Bureau,you will contribute to a collaborative team that ensures a high standard offile quality, accurate PRIME UCR (Uniform Crime Reporting) on police files,resulting in reliable crime statistics and high-quality reports.

Schedule / Hours of Work

The anticipatedschedule for this position is 4 on/4 off, day shifts . Please note, the hours are subject to change based on operationalneeds and adherence to the Collective Agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES





- Oversee dailyaudits of data and files on PRIME to ensure data integrity, accuracy, andcompleteness in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Monitors andresolves issues related to Master Naming Index (MNI), Master Vehicle Index(MVI), and Master Institution Index (MII).
- Inputsverified and accurate information, corrects data inaccuracies, duplications andresolves complex issues.
- R eviews and interprets Uniform Crime Reporting(UCR) policy and liaises with the PRIME Application Unit (PAU) to clarifypolicy changes and ensure procedural alignment.
- Supports themaintenance and revision of the UCR manual and business rules to reflectcurrent operational standards.
- Identifiesrecurring data quality issues and provides recommendations to improvecompliance and operational accuracy.
- Providesoversight to and assists training and mentoring new and existing staff onprocedures and system use.
- Maintainsliaison with the team and sworn members on matters of file maintenance,scoring, and compliance.
- Assists incommunicating policy updates.
- Preparedetailed reports to identify data integrity issues and training needs.
- Maintainsdata, documentation and files related to the work.
- Acts as aresource person on operations and procedures related to the work.
- Performs otherjob-related duties as required





QUALIFICATIONS

- Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by courses in a related disciplineincluding PRIME.
- A minimum of five years of related experience including experienceworking with PRIME in UCR scoring.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- All applicants must obtain and maintainthe required police clearance throughout their employment with SPS. This rolealso requires RCMP Reliability Status (security clearance).

- Thesalary range is $38.25/hour - $41.75/hour (pay grade 19) based on 2026 rates.
