CareRx is looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technicianto join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities in delivering safe and effective drug distribution services across multiple facilities. This role offers the opportunity to developexpertisein areas such as geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications. The successful candidate will also enhance their accuracy and efficiency in performing final checks related to compounding, compliance packaging, and other prescription fulfillmentprocesses.

Role Accountabilities:

- Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation,packagingand distribution of patient prescriptions




- Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
- Gatherandensure completenessofall necessary information,
- Confirm data entry accuracy ineMARand Kroll
- Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical productsand ensure final checksare completedfor accuracy prior to theirrelease
- Ensuringaccuratedocumentation,maintainingconfidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
- Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to The Team:

- Registered and in valuable standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
- Retail/Community/ Long Term Care Pharmacyexperiencestrongly preferred
- Demonstrated computer or work processing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range:

$30.00-34.00/hour.Actualpay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location:

This is on-site role at our Barrie location and follows a five-day work week with participation in on-call rotation for weekends.
