Research Engineer – Code Generation & Model Evaluation

We are seeking experienced Research Engineers to contribute to a project focused on code generation, software engineering, and AI model evaluation.

You'll apply your programming expertise to develop, review, and evaluate real-world coding tasks that help train and improve next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required.

Scope of Work

- Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across codebases using Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
- Implement recent features and enhancements for code generation workflows.
- Refactor and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop and review coding tasks to evaluate AI-generated code.
- Provide clear feedback and annotations to support model training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with technical contributors and stakeholders on software quality and technical direction.
- Document technical decisions, solutions, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong expertise in competitive programming,



algorithms, and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with debugging, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Experience with open-source contributions or collaborative software projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail in code validation and output consistency.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation

Compensation is output-based, with payment provided per task that meets project requirements. Task completion time may vary based on experience and workflow. Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.

Start Timeline & Availability

Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected experts should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
