We seek a compassionate Youth Support Worker for our program in La Ronge. This role emphasizes fostering life and social skills in youth through personalized guidance and cultural insights.

The Youth Support Worker will engage with youth, community members, and health professionals to increase awareness of challenges faced by First Nations youth. Success in this position requires flexibility in work hours and robust organizational skills, alongside knowledge of Woodland Cree practices.

Ability to inspire youth toward a healthy lifestyle is vital to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enhance understanding of youth-related issues in First Nations
- Organize committees to foster youth engagement
- Participate in community-specific youth planning




- Facilitate cultural workshops and promote healthy living
- Attend relevant meetings and professional development

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or relevant education/experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proven abilities in public speaking and group facilitation
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License necessary
