Spier & Mackay is looking for a Retail Store Manager to lead our new downtown Toronto location. This role is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, delivering an elevated customer experience, and building a solid in-store team culture that reflects the Spier & Mackay brand.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in menswear retail, leadership, client service, and team development. The ideal candidate understands both the operational and clienteling side of retail and can create a refined, welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all day-to-day store operations
- Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs
- Deliver a high level of customer service and client experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and repeat customers
- Recruit, train, and develop retail staff
- Oversee scheduling, payroll support, and team performance




- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand standards
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and product replenishment
- Support in-store events, promotions, and recent product launches
- Collaborate with head office teams on merchandising, operations, and customer feedback
- Maintain a professional, organized, and team-oriented environment

Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in menswear or luxury retail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for menswear, tailoring, and personal styling
- Experience driving sales and managing store performance
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience with clienteling and relationship-driven sales is an asset
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as required
