Nortex Roofing Ltd. is looking for an Experienced Roofing Estimator to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area.

full-time, on-site position for someone with solid experience in commercial and industrial roofing estimating who can confidently review drawings and specifications, complete take-offs, prepare detailed estimates, and coordinate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates
- Prepare competitive bids, quotations, and detailed proposals
- Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Identify scope requirements, exclusions, and potential project risks
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required
- Coordinate with project managers and the operations team during project handover




- Maintain organized estimating records and follow up on submitted bids

Qualifications:

- Min 3–5 years of roofing estimating experience
- Solid knowledge of commercial and industrial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with standard estimating and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of the GTA construction and roofing market is an asset
