Screenwriter/editor for interactive drama - a job post by Joël Leclerc

We're developing a ~7 minute pitch for a narrative-focused historical interactive drama (eg. "Life is Strange", "Until Dawn", etc.).

The game is based on a true story: An autistic girl born in 19th century France had to escape from an abusive caretaker who prevented her from seeing her family.

The pitch specifically focuses on her at 12 years: Still having the maturity of someone much younger, she wakes up in an empty attic and spends time with her doll - her only friend, only to have it destroyed by the caretaker at the end.

The scene has been hand-painted in a 19th century romantic art style, and will be shot using a custom motion capture animation system.

Status: Pre-production material is completed, and an initial draft of the script has been written. The job would be to help edit and tighten the script.

Pay: 200CAD flat rate. Remote, contract.

This idea is very compelling for a screenwriter.
