Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Newmarket, ON. This role is responsible for delivering an elevated in-store experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized product recommendations across Danier’s collections. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining visual merchandising standards, replenishing stock, processing sales transactions, and handling returns or exchanges in a professional manner.

Associate supports store operations by keeping the sales floor organized,



monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with promotional events or seasonal displays. This role works closely with the store team to meet sales targets, uphold Danier’s brand values, and ensure every customer interaction reflects the company’s commitment to quality and service.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and client-facing skills, including active listening, relationship building, and a friendly, skilled demeanor.
- Sales and retail experience, with the ability to meet targets, suggest add-on products, and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Organizational and time management abilities, such as maintaining a tidy sales floor, prioritizing tasks, and working efficiently during peak periods.
- Interest in fashion and leather goods, with a willingness to learn product features, care instructions, and styling tips.
- Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.
- Previous retail or customer service experience in fashion or accessories is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
