The Senior

Accountant role requires maintaining meticulous records of financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and generating accurate financial statements in compliance with Canadian ASPE and GAAP. You will be at the forefront of leading close processes and providing insights through analysis of P&L; and balance sheet variances, contributing to organizational budgeting and forecasting efforts, while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain general ledger accuracy with complex journal entries
- Direct month-end and year-end financial close processes




- Analyze financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Perform thorough balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare management reports to aid decision-making Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in ASPE, US GAAP, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP solutions
