Senior Commercial Account Manager

Newcastle Insurance Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing, independent brokerage where you'll have the ability to make an impact, build robust client and insurer relationships, and help shape how we deliver exceptional service to our commercial clients.

What You'll Do

- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Lead the renewal process from start to finish, including reviewing exposures, coverage and renewal strategy
- Review client coverage, identify gaps and provide proactive recommendations
- Market accounts and negotiate terms with insurer partners
- Prepare applications, proposals, policy documentation and certificates as required
- Support Producers with new business opportunities and client onboarding
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and underwriters
- Maintain accurate and complete client records within the brokerage management system

What We're Looking For

- RIBO licence in good standing
- 5+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred
- Robust knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and the Ontario insurance marketplace
- Demonstrated ability to manage commercial accounts and renewals independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Applied Epic experience is an asset
- CAIB, CIP, CRM or another industry designation is an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000–$130,000 annually. The successful candidate's compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including experience, technical expertise, qualifications and the scope and level of the position.
