About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compositor to join their visual effects team in Kimberley . This role involves seamlessly integrating various visual elements, including CGI, live-action footage, and matte paintings, to create final, polished shots for film and television. You will work with a talented team of VFX artists, applying your expertise in compositing software to achieve photo-realistic and visually stunning results. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of color correction, keying, tracking, and digital compositing techniques, coupled with an exceptional eye for detail and cinematic quality. You will play a vital role in the post-production pipeline, ensuring that the final output meets the highest creative and technical standards, contributing to the growing VFX industry in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced digital compositing to integrate CGI, live-action elements, and other assets into final shots.
- Execute tasks such as keying, rotoscoping, color correction, matte painting integration, and final compositing.
- Collaborate closely with VFX supervisors, CG artists,



and editors to achieve the desired look and feel of shots.
- Ensure consistency in color, lighting, and perspective across all composited elements.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and optimize compositing workflows for efficiency and quality.

Requirements

- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in visual effects compositing, with a strong portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard compositing software such as Nuke.
- Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, perspective, and film grammar.
- Experience with various compositing techniques, including keying, rotoscoping, tracking, and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
