About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Facilities Engineer to join their operational team in Kimberley . This hybrid role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficient operation of our offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. You will be involved in maintenance strategies, integrity management, and supporting modifications and upgrades to production facilities. This position offers a significant opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a challenging environment and contribute to the successful execution of projects within the Oil & Gas industry .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement asset integrity and maintenance strategies for production facilities, including pipelines, platforms, and processing plants.
- Oversee inspections, testing, and repair programs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues, providing timely engineering solutions.
- Support the planning and execution of facility modifications, upgrades, and brownfield projects.
- Collaborate with operations, drilling, and project teams to ensure facilities meet production and safety requirements.




- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and cost estimates for facility-related activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, or project engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Strong understanding of structural integrity, materials science, and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Experience with process safety, risk management, and HAZOP studies.
- Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs;, equipment specifications, and maintenance documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, for contributing effectively in Kimberley .
