Title: Senior Policy Advisor, Primary Health Care – Internal only

Salary: $102,397 - $114,444- $138,538 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Term Contract until Jan 31, 2027

Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location: Metro Vancouver office, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations.

About The Role

As the Senior Policy Advisor,



Primary Health Care, you are responsible for providing support, consultation, and strategic advice to senior management on the transformation of health systems and Primary Health Care (PHC) services at FNHA. The role provides guidance on policy and strategic issues and supports the development and implementation of strategic policies. Additionally, the position leads assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring a continued focus on improving and sustaining the health and well-being of BC First Nations.

About You To be successful in this role you will have/be;

Education An undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution is required in a related field such as health policy, public policy, health systems management, political or social science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Masters preferred.)

Experience

- Minimum 8 years’

experience in Indigenous health or similar field is required.
- Experience in working with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services
- Experience in effectively leading and supervising a team of professionals

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full-time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
