Senior School Math & Science Teacher

Full-time (1.0 EFT) permanent position to commence January 4, 2027

St. John's-Ravenscourt School seeks a passionate and dynamic Math & Science Teacher to join our Senior School team. The successful candidate will actively and purposefully collaborate with a strong team of educators to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students.

Candidates will have demonstrated superior teaching ability across all Mathematics courses offered, from Grade 9 Mathematics through Grade 12 Pre-Calculus.

Experience with the delivery of Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics and Calculus AB/BC is considered an asset. The successful candidate will also have experience delivering general Science and Chemistry courses, ranging from Grade 9 through Advanced Placement (AP) levels, and will champion an inquiry-based approach with a demonstrated ability to support learning through laboratory work. The successful candidate will embrace contemporary teaching and learning practices and be committed to ongoing qualified growth.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student learning, providing academic support, and communicating effectively and promptly with parents, support staff, and administrators. Grade-level teaching assignments may change from year to year based on operational needs.
