Content & Social Media
- Own the day-to-day content calendar across Rootree's social channels, especially LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Coordinate, shoot, and edit our video output — short and long form.
- Create and coordinate photos, videos, graphics, and other content that align with brand guidelines.
- Keep every platform cohesive and on-brand, and tell Rootree's story in a explicit, authentic, and compelling way.
Strategy & Planning
- Brainstorm and build content calendars using insights and data, scheduling posts at peak times for maximum engagement.
- Research industry trends and competitor communication strategies to keep Rootree ahead of the curve.
- Identify opportunities for PR, media coverage, podcasts, events, and partnerships.
- Support company announcements, product launches, and other key communications.
Lead Generation & Funnel Management
- Build and manage the lead funnel that turns social audiences into real leads — landing pages, forms, and email/nurture sequences.
- Track social and funnel performance (native analytics, GA4, campaign platforms) and use the data to improve what we do.
- Test and optimize calls-to-action, offers, and campaigns to increase conversion, not just reach.
- Help connect marketing-generated leads into the sales pipeline, following our CRM process.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and the broader marketing/communications team.
- Run analytic reports on social performance and share clear, actionable takeaways.
- All other duties as requested.
Who We're looking for
Knowledge
- Solid grasp of social media best practices and how LinkedIn and Instagram content actually performs.
- Understanding of basic lead-generation and funnel concepts: landing pages, calls-to-action, email nurture sequences.
- Brand storytelling and content strategy fundamentals.
- Awareness of current social media and content trends, and a habit of tracking what's working elsewhere.
Experience
- Proven experience planning and executing a content calendar across multiple social platforms.
- Hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form video (reels/TikTok-style content), at a sustained, highfrequency pace.
- Experience creating on-brand graphics and visual content.
- Preferred: experience running or supporting paid social campaigns (Meta and/or LinkedIn ads).
Technical Ability
- Video editing software — Adobe Premiere Pro preferred (or equivalent professional tool).
- Design software — Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
- Social media back-ends and scheduling tools — Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and a scheduling platform (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Analytics tools — comfortable working with native platform insights and Google Analytics (GA4) to track and report performance.
- Lead-generation/marketing tools — landing page builders and email marketing platforms (e.g., (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar); comfort following a CRM process to hand off qualified leads
