Role Description The Social Media Content Creator internship at JuvelAI is a remote unpaid internship role focused on supporting the organization’s online presence and outreach to students, families, educators, and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating platform-appropriate content (posts, captions, short-form videos, graphics), drafting social media calendars, and aligning messaging with JuvelAI’s mission and programs. The intern will help highlight upcoming events, share educational insights, and repurpose program materials into engaging social posts.

Additional tasks may include monitoring engagement, responding to comments or messages in a professional manner, and collaborating with team members on campaign ideas. This internship role is designed to provide practical experience in mission-driven digital communication while contributing directly to youth-focused programming.





Qualifications

- Ability to create transparent, engaging written content for social media (e.g., posts, captions, short summaries) tailored to youth and educator audiences.
- Basic familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and an understanding of what makes content engaging on each.
- Interest in education, youth development, or career exploration initiatives, and alignment with JuvelAI’s mission and values.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan content, meet deadlines, and coordinate with a remote team.
- Comfort with remote work tools (e.g., email, video conferencing, shared documents) and willingness to learn new tools as needed.
- Attention to detail and commitment to representing the organization in a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory manner.
- Prior experience in social media, student organizations, or content creation is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.
