Job summary

Assist in all aspects of arranging corporate travel within Cargojet with a focus on crew travel.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lead the Crew Travel team: Supervise day-to-day operations of the Crew Travel team, setting priorities, distributing workload, and providing coaching, training and hands-on support to deliver timely, cost-effective travel for crew and company personnel.
- Invoice vetting and approval: Rigorously review and validate all travel invoices (airline, hotel, car rental and ground transportation) against bookings, crew schedules, contracted rates and company policy before approval. Identify and resolve billing errors, duplicate charges, no-show fees and other discrepancies directly with vendors.
- Monthly travel spend management: Own monthly travel spend tracking and reporting. Analyze costs against budget,



explain variances and trends, and present findings and cost-saving recommendations to Crew Planning leadership.
- Reconciliations and month-end: Oversee reconciliations of invoices, corporate credit cards, and hotel and ground transportation accounts, maintaining accurate, audit-ready supporting records and working with Finance to ensure a timely month-end close.
- Cost control: Proactively monitor non-refundable tickets, unused credits and change fees, maximize credit utilization, and identify opportunities to reduce overall travel expenses.
- Vendor management: Manage hotel and ground transportation partners, including sourcing, rate and contract negotiations, performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Travel operations: Oversee and coordinate airline, hotel, car rental and ground transportation arrangements for crew and other company personnel.
- Escalation point: Act as the first point of escalation for complex bookings, irregular operations, travel disruptions and vendor issues, making sound decisions under time pressure.
- Policy compliance: Ensure company travel policies, procedures, booking standards and applicable requirements are consistently applied across the team.
- MYID program:



Administer the MYID travel program and perform other Crew Travel duties as required.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

- 1-2 years’ experience as a travel consultant or experience in airline travel services.
- College diploma in Travel and Tourism and or relative experience.
- Strong proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
- Full understanding of airline rules and fares.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be willing to work evenings and extended hours, if required.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
