We are seeking a proactive and technical Team Lead, Architecture to turn priorities into short-cycle plans and drive high-quality, on-time execution. You will lead the day-to-day work of the team, maintain rigorous architectural standards, and proactively resolve quality, constructability, coordination, and schedule challenges. With an eagle eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset, you will strengthen both the team’s output and how the work gets accomplished.

You will Bring

- A University or College degree in Architecture or Engineering
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Architecture field, including demonstrated experience leading the work of others
- Knowledge of proper Windows folder structures, cloud syncing constraints and ability to follow department file naming protocols
- Understanding of all phases of design delivery and construction

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage day-to-day workloads across the team
- Assign tasks, track progress, remove blockers, and maintain visibility of deadlines and red conditions
- Maintain departmental standards (templates, libraries, file structures, drafting and modeling standards, naming, and version control)
- Over-cycle team member duties when issues arise
- Coordinate quality gates at the stages within their mandate
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and relay schedules to hit timelines
- Resolve scope, schedule, constructability, and coordination conflicts within their mandate
- Participate in departmental budgeting, code and file invoices
- Report to the Architecture Leadership team the current condition of safety, quality, output, and cost for their mandate
- Perform and coach improvement activities across the Architecture value chain
- Perform any other duties as may be required by the organization

Mandate Accountabilities

- Lead architectural deliverables from early feasibility and schematic design through sales launch, detailed design, lot-specific production, permitting, and construction
- Ensure drawing packages, designs, approvals, and production files are accurate, coordinated, complete, and delivered to committed schedules
- Coordinate architectural,



structural, HVAC, energy modeling, truss, floor, and manufacturing requirements to create buildable, production-ready solutions
- Lead internal and external design partners through key milestones, approvals, and architectural control requirements
- Maintain alignment between approved product designs and Sales, Marketing, Design Studio, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Construction deliverables
- Proactively identify and resolve design, constructability, coordination, and production issues before they impact downstream teams or schedules
- Support production and construction by resolving technical issues quickly and using recurring challenges to drive improvements back into the design process

Working Conditions

- Full time, in-person role within a collaborative project workplace
- Travel between Ottawa and the GTA, as required
- Travel to construction sites, consultant offices, and other company locations, as required
- PPE is required at all times in field settings (steel toes, hard hat, Hi-Vis)

- Holds a valid G license with access to a reliable vehicle
- Extended periods of computer work may be required
