Role DescriptionWe are looking for a mid-level UX/UI Consultant who combines solid design skills with strong communication, organization and client-facing ability.

This is a hands-on role, but not just a production design position. You will work directly with clients, business stakeholders, developers and other members of the Interpix team to understand problems, contribute to discovery and translate business and user needs into clear digital experiences.

You will work across multiple projects, so you need to be comfortable managing priorities, communicating clearly and moving between different clients and project teams.

You do not need to know everything. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation who can work independently, contribute confidently in client discussions and continue developing their consulting and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

- Participate in client discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews and working sessions.
- Help understand client business needs, users, processes and technical requirements.
- Translate requirements into user flows, information architecture,



wireframes, prototypes and interface designs.
- Present design concepts and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Ask positive questions and help bring structure to unclear or complex problems.
- Work closely with developers to understand technical constraints and support implementation.
- Collaborate with UX, UI, accessibility, development and project management team members.
- Contribute to design systems, UX standards and reusable interface patterns.
- Apply accessibility standards and inclusive design practices throughout the design process.
- Review implemented designs and help identify UX, UI and accessibility issues.
- Manage priorities and deadlines across several active projects.
- Participate in user research and usability testing where required.

Qualifications
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UX, UI, product design or digital consulting.
- Strong UX skills including wireframing, user flows, information architecture and interaction design.
- Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Good visual design skills with a strong understanding of layout, typography, responsive design and interface consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting work and explaining design decisions to clients and non-design stakeholders.




- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of web and application development processes.
- Experience working with design systems and reusable components.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG, is an asset.
- Experience with user research, usability testing or analytics is an asset.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected to the team.
- Relevant education in UX, HCI, design, digital media or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

You should also be comfortable working with developers and understanding how your designs will actually be built.
