Position Summary

Under the direction of the President, the Vice President of Marketing will oversee the planning, development, and execution of the company's marketing initiatives. They will drive the company's revenue growth by creating and implementing effective marketing campaigns and customer engagement plans, while championing the adoption of AI tools to sharpen targeting, speed up execution, and strengthen customer insight across the department. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in marketing management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team that is fluent in using AI as part of its everyday work.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Create and manage annual marketing budgets
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats.

Marketing Strategy and Management

- Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, event, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing campaigns that promote our products and services.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure product positioning and messaging align with market needs.
- Manage brand development and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and communications.




- Evaluate and optimize marketing efforts to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Team Development and Leadership

- Manage, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and create professional development plans for team members.

Collaboration and Communication

- Work closely with the executive team to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO on marketing performance, including key metrics and progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., product development, customer support, finance) to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives.
- All other related tasks.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, in the beauty industry.
- Ability to manage expansive teams and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
