About the role

Thorp Controls Automation Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations at our Denver, CO location. This is a hands-on role focused on receiving, picking, shipping, assembling, and delivering electrical automation parts. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

What you'll do

- Receive, pick, pack, and ship electrical automation parts for timely order fulfillment.
- Perform minor assembly tasks as needed.
- Deliver products to local customers when necessary.
- Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory audits in coordination with the Purchasing Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality to support smooth warehouse operations.
- Learn and utilize warehouse management software for inventory tracking.
- Safely handle materials, including lifting/moving up to 75 lbs. unassisted and performing tasks that involve standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting,



and walking for extended periods.
- Work collaboratively with team members at the La Vista warehouse and other Thorp Controls Automation Solutions locations.
- Look for opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
- As time permits, gain experience in inside sales support.

Qualifications

- No prior warehouse experience required, but experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving is a plus.
- Product knowledge is not required, but may be considered in compensation evaluation.
- Basic math skills and ability to learn and operate inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. unassisted and perform warehouse-related physical tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
