Sweat & Shiver Modern Health Lounge is a premium wellness and recovery studio in Abbotsford, BC, specializing in private sauna and cold plunge.

We’re passionate about helping people feel better, recover faster, perform at their best, and build healthier routines through intentional heat and cold exposure.

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and highly personable team member who can help create an exceptional experience from the moment a guest walks through the door.

This is a customer-facing sales and studio operations role. You'll be responsible for welcoming guests, building relationships, selling memberships and packages, answering questions, and making sure the studio is clean, organized and ready for every client.

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Experience

- Welcome every guest with a friendly and qualified attitude
- Check guests in and assist with bookings and appointments
- Introduce new guests to the Sweat & Shiver experience
- Explain our sauna, cold plunge and other wellness services
- Educate guests on memberships, packages and available services
- Identify opportunities to convert first-time guests into repeat customers and members
- Sell memberships, packages, gift cards and retail products
- Follow up with leads and prospective members




- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, text, email and other channels
- Build genuine relationships with members and create a welcoming community
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
- Encourage members to maintain their wellness routines and return regularly
- Help achieve individual and studio sales goals
- Accurately process payments and maintain customer information in our booking/POS systems

Studio Operations & Cleaning

Keeping the studio clean and organized is a major part of this position.

Responsibilities include

- Cleaning and sanitizing sauna rooms between guests
- Cleaning and disinfecting cold plunge areas and surrounding surfaces
- Cleaning showers, floors, benches, sinks and other studio areas
- Maintaining a clean and presentable reception area
- Changing and managing towels and laundry
- Restocking towels, cleaning supplies and guest amenities
- Emptying garbage and maintaining general studio cleanliness
- Keeping common areas organized throughout the day
- Completing opening and closing cleaning procedures
- Following established sanitation and safety procedures
- Performing regular cleaning checks throughout your shift
- Reporting maintenance, equipment or facility issues to management
- Making sure every room is clean, fresh and ready for the next guest

Our standard is simple: if a guest walks into the studio, everything should look, feel and smell clean.

The Ideal Person

We're looking for someone who can sell without being pushy.

Someone who can walk into a room, make people feel comfortable, understand what they're looking for and confidently explain why Sweat & Shiver could be a good fit for them.

At the same time, you're someone who notices when the garbage needs to be taken out, a sauna needs cleaning, towels need folding or a room isn't up to standard — and you take care of it without being asked.

Schedule

We are looking for team members who can provide flexible availability, including:

- Morning shifts
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekday shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Opening and closing shifts

Weekend availability is required for this position.

Commission structure will be based on memberships, packages and other eligible sales.
