Drive the development of Early Recreational Programs at Westside Recreation Centre, fostering engaging experiences for children ages 2-6. This part-time role involves both leadership and hands-on program delivery. As the Children’s Programs Lead, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative activities that spark joy and learning for kids.

This role encompasses supervising staff, implementing comprehensive programming, and maintaining a secure, enjoyable environment for families. The balance of in-field and administrative tasks is key to this position, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the creation and execution of programs and events
- Deliver hands-on instruction for children's activities
- Manage staff functions,



including recruitment and training
- Perform necessary administrative duties and paperwork
- Oversee safety and maintenance protocols for equipment Requirements:
- Minimum three years of early education and recreation experience
- Supervisory experience of at least two years
- First Aid certification from an Alberta approved agency
- Relevant post-secondary education
