The incumbent will ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.Job duties are as follows but not limited to:- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant including planning, organising, and controlling various aspects of daily operations of the restaurant- Evaluate the day-to-day operation as per company policy and protocols set by A & W restaurants- Plan, direct, and supervise the preparation and cooking of food, and the proper use of equipment in a safe and sanitary environment- Assist in the responsibility for restaurant outcomes which include but are not limited to increased sales, profitability,



and employee retention- Implement marketing promotional campaigns- Order supplies and verify delivered food supplies for quantity and quality- Supervise food storage and maintain inventory control- Oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security- Direct the overall sanitation procedures for conformity to prescribed policies, procedures, and regulations- Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations- Preparing reports and other performance analysis documentation- Conducting audits according to A&W; Restaurant guidelines to ensure food service quality, environmental safety, and infection control- Recruit new staff, train and develop existing staff, engaging and encouraging staff to achieve targets.- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees- Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.- Identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained- Report to and attend regular meetings with area managers or head office representatives- Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:- Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline- Minimum 1 year of previous restaurant or QSR management experience.Additional Job Requirements:Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including early morning, afternoon and evening shifts#J-18808-Ljbffr
