Lead Tooling Crib Operations for a World-Class Manufacturing Facility | 3-6 Month Contract in Windsor Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Tooling Crib Supervisor in the Automotive Manufacturing industry in Windsor, Ontario. Are you a hands-on leader with experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support?

We are seeking a Tooling Crib Supervisor to oversee daily tooling crib operations in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead a team, drive inventory accuracy, support production continuity, and champion safety while ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are available when needed for efficient operations.

Total rewards:$42.00 - $52.00 hourly

A competitive pay rate, typically between $42 and $52/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

- Lead daily tooling crib operations and supervise hourly team members
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate tool issuance, returns, repairs, and calibration activities
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure critical items remain available
- Analyze operational data and track key performance indicators
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support production needs

Requirements

- Lead teams in manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or material-handling environments
- Demonstrate experience with inventory control and material transactions
- Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced operations
- Utilize inventory management, ERP, CMMS, or tool-control systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S
- Communicate effectively with employees, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bring a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant supervisory experience
