Run Ready is advancing the sport through research, innovation, and education. Led by Physiotherapists, our running health brand, studies the human body and running footwear to help people run healthier and perform better.

Run Ready is part of a company that includes Run AsYou Are, a Vancouver-based specialty shop offering top footwear, apparel, and accessories. Since 2013, Run AsYou Are has supported the local running community through weekly runs and events.

Run Ready has launched the Run Ready Performance Program, a new running health service available exclusively at the Run AsYou Are West 4th Avenue shop.

The Role

As the Run Ready Experience Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind every step of the client journey at the Run Ready studio—exclusively offered inside the Run AsYou Are West 4th Avenue shop. From appointment booking to delivering an exceptional in-studio experience and leading the footwear matching process, you'll guide clients at every stage of their Run Ready journey.

You'll work closely with both the Run Ready and Run AsYou Are teams to ensure seamless operations and a welcoming, health-centered environment. Your role spans client experience, footwear guidance, studio administration, and sales support. You'll also build relationships with clients, community partners, and local runners to drive service bookings and elevate brand visibility.

You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Operations, and Community teams to support Run Ready programs and expand our reach through special initiatives and events.

Key Responsibilities

Run Ready Studio Client Experience | 25%

- Host Run Ready clients, creating a welcoming, attractive and health centred client experience.
- Check in clients for appointments, orient them to the studio space, and ensure they feel comfortable and supported.
- Provide studio tours for new clients to familiarize them with the studio's offerings.
- Maintain the studio's appearance, including ongoing housekeeping, supply management,



and towel service.
- Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.

Run Ready x Run AsYou Are Footwear Match Experience | 25%

- Lead the Run Ready x Run AsYou Are Footwear Match experience for Run Ready clients. Seamlessly blend expert footwear knowledge, the Run AsYou Are footwear fitting process and our in-house developed runready.io platform to support Run Ready clients find their perfect footwear match.
- Stay informed on emerging footwear technologies and Run AsYou Are's product assortment.
- Communicate product features and benefits confidently to help clients find their ideal footwear and drive sales.
- Convert walk-ins and inquiries into booked appointments by effectively communicating the benefits of Run Ready Performance Program services.
- Foster client relationships to drive repeat visits and long-term service use.
- Support therapists by discussing and promoting follow through on the plan of care developed through the Run Ready Performance Program.
- Collaborate with retail staff to cross-promote studio services with in-store products.
- Manage all client scheduling, including new appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations, ensuring the calendar runs efficiently.
- Accurately handle client billing and process insurance claims as required.
- Respond to client inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and studio operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols in the studio space.
- Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on studio operations and promotions and suggest improvements.

Position Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing or sales roles, ideally in health, fitness, or retail settings
- Sales experience or a natural inclination toward promoting services
- Solid organizational skills with a focus on administrative tasks
- Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of this position - 40 hours/week in person at our store studio (Tuesday-Saturday) with some occasional evening events
- Familiarity with physiotherapy, fitness services, or health-related industries is an asset
