About The Sequel – Restaurant and Kitchen

Key Responsibilities

- Shifts include a mix of mornings (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and evenings (4:00 PM – close)

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation

- Set up and clean dining areas before, during, and after service

- Use POS system to process orders, handle cash, and manage card transactions

- Perform basic cash-out duties, ensuring accuracy

- Answer phones and take take-out orders via phone or delivery apps





- Manage tablet system for walk-in and reservation seating

- Greet, seat, and engage customers to ensure a positive dining experience

- Assist with general restaurant operations and collaborate with the team to maintain high service standards

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of professional serving experience

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask in a busy environment

- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus

- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred; work permit holders considered

- Must be able to commit to at least 6 months

- Intermediate wine knowledge; WSET certification is an asset
