What You’ll Be Doing as the Senior Property Accountant

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reporting packages
- Complete month-end and year-end accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Review rent rolls, tenant charges, recoveries, revenues, and expenses
- Prepare CAM and operating expense reconciliations
- Develop annual property budgets and support forecasting and variance analysis
- Coordinate GST reporting and year-end working papers
- Support property transitions, acquisitions, and special projects

About You as the Senior Property Accountant





- 3+ years full cycle accounting experience
- Formal education (certificate, diploma, degree)
- Property accounting or commercial real estate experience
- Experience accounting for multiple properties or entities
- CAM reconciliation and tenant recovery experience is an asset
- Yardi experience is an asset
- Residential property or RTB experience is an asset
