Radius Recycling is seeking an Operations Supervisor to help lead daily yard operations, drive safety and production performance, and develop employees in a dynamic industrial setting.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Supervisor, you'll spend approximately:

✅ 70% of your time in the yard

- Monitoring operations
- Supporting production teams
- Driving safety initiatives
- Managing workflows and priorities
- Ensuring efficient, safe day-to-day operations

✅ 30% of your time in the office

- Managing inventory accuracy
- Scheduling and planning work
- Completing operational documentation
- Supporting employee development and training

You'll work closely with the Facility Manager to help ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily operations and support production teams in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring environmental compliance
- Coach, develop, and motivate employees to meet performance and operational goals
- Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and equipment utilization
- Maintain accurate inventory, quality control, and operational records




- Prioritize work schedules and coordinate resources to meet production targets
- Support training, employee development, and performance management initiatives
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and operational efficiency
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and business partners
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader in both the yard and office workplace

What We're Looking For

Required

- 1-3 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, logistics, transportation, warehousing, recycling, aggregates, or similar environment
- Previous leadership, supervisory, lead, or crew management experience
- Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, spreadsheets, and operational reporting
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

- Experience supervising employees in an outdoor industrial environment
- Experience with production operations, inventory control, equipment operations, or materials management
- Post-secondary education, certifications, or leadership training
- Experience tracking operational metrics and production performance

Work Environment

This is a hands-on leadership role located in an active industrial yard.

- Approximately 70% field-based and 30% office-based
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Walking on uneven terrain and throughout operational areas is required
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be necessary to support business needs
