Property Maintenance & Grounds Attendant
Location: Kitchener, ON – near Conestoga College
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Hours: Approximately 3 hours per day / 15–20 hours per week
Position Summary
Klenzal Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and hardworking Property Maintenance & Grounds Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas and underground parking facilities at a Klenzal customer property in Kitchener, near Conestoga College.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that involves walking, bending, lifting, sweeping, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Applicants must be physically fit and comfortable staying active throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and spot-clean exterior walkways, entrances, and common outdoor areas
- Pick up litter, garbage, and debris throughout the property
- Maintain the cleanliness of underground parking areas
- Collect loose garbage and debris throughout the parking garage
- Check and maintain garbage and waste-receptacle areas
- Keep entrances and assigned exterior areas clean and presentable
- Report spills,
property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions
- Perform other light property-cleaning and maintenance duties as required
Requirements
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing a physically demanding job
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently start at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to walk, bend, lift, carry, sweep, and remain physically active throughout the shift
- Able to work independently and manage assigned duties without constant supervision
- Solid attention to detail
- Dependable transportation to the Kitchener work location
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys active, independent work and takes pride in keeping a property clean and well maintained.
Pay: $19.00/hour
Expected hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
Work days: Monday to Friday
Start time: 7:00 AM
