The Day Camp Counsellors will be responsible for providing daily supervision of campers and implementing summer camp program plans as directed by the Supervisor. We are looking for someone who loves working with children and would enthusiastically work to ensure children have the best possible experience in our programs. This is a designated position for youth ages 18-30 with Indigenous ancestry.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a caring leader through the summer for all campersActively play camp games with campersMaintain a team-oriented and positive attitude while working in a team settingCommunicate effectively and professionally with campers and staffFacilitate recreational programs, including activities such as games and arts and craftsKeep rooms organized and cleanParticipate in activities with the children, including swimmingProvide outstanding communication with co-workers, children, parents and guardiansReport any program issues, supply/material requirements, and other concerns to supervisorsWilling and able to supervise campers in a swimming pool settingEnsure a fun, safe atmosphere for all campers and staffMay perform other related duties as requiredQualifications & ExperienceMust be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment (designated youth position)Excellent communicator,
