Are you an LPN who actually enjoys solving complex logistical puzzles? We are looking for a Clinical Operations Coordinator to be our clinical leader on the ground in Edmonton. However, this is not a traditional, slow-paced desk job, nor is it a standard hospital charge nurse role with a built-in staffing float pool.

In private home care, you are managing a decentralized, casual workforce. You will be fielding last-minute caregiver call-outs, negotiating shift coverage, and independently managing daily operational friction. We need a thick-skinned, emotionally intelligent leader who does not take scheduling rejections personally and who thrives on keeping a complex puzzle intact.

Key Responsibilities

- Logistics & Scheduling Tetris: Act as the operational engine for the Edmonton and Calgary markets, utilizing AlayaCare to ensure all shifts are filled and travel routes are optimized.
- Independent Conflict Management: Field a high volume of daily inbound communications, confidently resolving disputes, family anxieties, and caregiver reliability issues without needing constant upper-management intervention.
- Clinical Intakes & Delegation: Conduct in-person clinical assessments, intakes, and training for Edmonton-area clients.
- Care Plan Optimization: Build, audit, and consolidate complex care plans into streamlined, point-form interventions that are highly functional for field staff.
- Crisis Triage: Rapidly pivot when the schedule falls apart at 6:00 AM,

Qualifications & Non-Negotiables

- Licensing: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in positive standing is strictly mandatory.
- Required Experience: Minimum 5+ years of nursing experience, with mandatory prior experience in private home care operations and care coordination. Candidates coming exclusively from acute care hospitals or long-term care facilities will only be considered if they can demonstrate significant decentralized operational experience.
- Digital Agility: You must possess high tech-literacy and the digital speed to fluidly manage multiple browser tabs and rapid scheduling adjustments in AlayaCare.
- Typing Speed: Minimum 60 WPM required for heavy data entry (Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a live technical and calendar management skills assessment).
- Resilience: The ability to hear "no" from staff when filling shifts and immediately dial the next number without frustration.

Pay: $60,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
