Elgin Contracting and Restoration Ltd. is currently accepting resumes for EXPERIENCED working site supervisors for ICI Construction.

Minimum Qualifications:

- The person MUST have 3 - 5 years of on site, in the field construction experience in a supervisory role.

- Possess and maintain current driver's license, reliable vehicle and have the ability to drive to work sites within 1.5 hours of London daily.

- Understanding of all rules, regulations, policies and procedures that apply to General ICI Construction.

- Understanding of drawings, specifications, ability to use tools, carpentry or other construction experience required.

- Have an understanding of all Local, Provincial and Federal regulations that apply to General Construction.

- Enforce site safety requirements. Knowledge of COR program is preferred.

- Possess and demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills.

- Excellent written communication skills.

- Ability to use phones, tablets, computers for management digital platforms.

- Good verbal interpersonal communication skills coupled with strong technical aptitude with the ability to tackle a task logically, and perseverance to see through all obstacles.

- Must be prepared to work under pressure and regard his/her work as a challenge. The individual must be able to address a wide variety of people, from unskilled to professional.

Primary Function:

Working in collaboration with the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor is directly responsible for all site activities including safety, quality and schedule. Coordinating various subtrades and self-performing various tasks.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:





- Has direct supervisory responsibility over all sub-trades on all project job sites under his/her direction.

- Responds to all requests from sub-trades and/or consultants/clients in which assistance is needed in a timely manner.

- Ensures compliance by sub-trades of all applicable city, provincial, and federal governing agency and company policies, practices, and procedures by observing and interacting with sub-trades in the field.

- Willingness to travel to job sites within the Southwestern Ontario region.

- Perform other duties or tasks as directed by Management.

Due to the nature of the business and clients, the successful candidate must be able to pass basic criminal and police checks.

Salary based on experience.
