1st Electric is looking for an Electrical Operations Manager to work alongside our General Manager and Operations Manager to help lead the day-to-day delivery of our electrical projects.

Our ideal candidate has experience managing electrical operations, projects, and field crews. You know how to keep jobs organized, anticipate what crews need, solve problems as they arise, and maintain strong relationships with customers.

We’re also open to hearing from an exceptional journeyperson electrician who has taken the lead on jobs, supported other electricians, and is ready to move into an operations management role. Electrical knowledge and sound judgment are essential; we can support the right person in developing the management side of the position.

What you’ll do

- Work closely with the General Manager to plan and oversee day-to-day electrical operations.
- Support field crews with job planning, technical questions, and problems that arise on site.
- Order and coordinate delivery of materials so crews have what they need when they need it.
- Meet with customers, assess their needs, and prepare accurate quotes for residential electrical projects.
- Monitor job progress, schedules, quality, and customer commitments.
- Coordinate changes to the scope of work and ensure they are communicated and documented.
- Help improve the processes that allow our crews to work safely and efficiently.
- Provide operational coverage and support for the General Manager.

What we’re looking for

- Journeyperson electrician certification and substantial residential or commercial electrical experience.




- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly with customers, field crews, and office staff.
- Solid computer skills, including the ability to use estimating, scheduling, and job management software.

Electrical operations management, project management, estimating, and crew leadership experience are strongly preferred. If you haven’t held a formal management title but have been the person others rely on to plan work, guide a crew, and solve problems, we encourage you to apply.
