Accounts Payable Coordinator - Calgary (Temporary)Transdev Western Canada is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our head office in Calgary on a temporary basisThe Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all aspects of the accounts payable function. This role has a regional (Western Canada) presence and ensures that vendor invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner.This contract is expected to end on December 31, 2026.Your roleProcess high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Verify invoice details, accurately code to general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies and eliminate duplicates.Manage the timely and accurate processing of payments, including cheques, ACH/EFT, and wire transfers.Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries regarding account status and payments.Experience in managing large vendor relationships with multiple accountsAbility to adjust to changing priorities and identify / communicate risks effectively and proactivelyCollaborate with other departments to communicate and resolve invoice and payment issues.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare monthly accruals.Assist with month-end closing activities,



including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.Generate and distribute accounts payable reports as needed.Support annual audit by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.Continuously improve accounts payable processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Become a subject matter expert over the accounts payable processes and related systems. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance role. Good understanding the procurement lifecycle, three-way matching, GL coding and Debit/Credit financial accountingProficiency in accounting software (e.G., JD Edwards, MS Dynamics, Tungsten AP Essentials/OCR etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite,Strong skills in Excel.Strong attention to detail and organizational and prioritization skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Flexible and able to pivot between priorities.Calgary (downtown) minimum 3 days per week with 2 work-from-home days#J-18808-Ljbffr
