Holy Guacamole is looking for a Cashier / Customer Service Team Member who enjoys creating a great experience for every customer.

At Holy Guacamole, our Cashiers are an important part of our team. You are often the first person our customers see and the last person they interact with, so providing friendly, fast, and professional customer service is one of our top priorities.

We are looking for someone who can take orders, answer questions, handle payments, communicate with the kitchen, keep the front area organized, and help the team wherever needed — sometimes all at the same time!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Welcome every customer with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service from the moment customers arrive until they leave.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, sauces, and options to customers.
- Answer customer questions and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and other approved payments.
- Handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Ensure customers receive the correct orders and items.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding customer requests, modifications, allergies, and special instructions.
- Monitor orders and help ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
- Manage multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Keep the cashier area, dining area, counters,



and front-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Restock napkins, utensils, sauces, bags, drinks, and other supplies.
- Assist the kitchen and other team members when needed.
- Help with opening and closing duties.
- Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and involve a manager when necessary.
- Represent the Holy Guacamole brand in a friendly, professional, and positive way.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous customer service or cashier experience is an asset.
- Restaurant or food-service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with cash and payment systems.
- Comfortable learning and using a POS system.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food Handler certification is an asset.
- Spanish language skills are an asset but not required.
