Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic specializing in Cummins and Paccar engines. In this role, you will be responsible for rebuild, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel engines and DFP system problems related to dump trucks. Must have hydraulic system knowledge and welding experience.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including Cummins and Paccar models, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Diagnose DPF system and fix.
- Hydraulic system knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Conduct heavy lifting and mechanical repairs on dump trucks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices to complete repairs accurately.
- Interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.




- Operate heavy equipment safely during diagnostics or repairs when necessary.

Requirements

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty diesel engines, especially Cummins and Paccar brands.
- Dealership or industrial equipment repair experience highly preferred.
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various machinery including dump trucks, Live bottoms etc.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools, power tools, hand tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and industrial machinery safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
