Job Summary

1. The ideal candidate must be able to drive the client they support in their own car. Your car must be in reliable condition and you must have a BC Driver's License and Insurance.

2. The ideal candidate must be available to work awake nightshifts.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to one individual with complex special needs. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life through personalized support and care.

Duties

- Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for client, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Experience

- A background (preferably a Bachelors or Associates degree) in psychology, early childhood education, social work and related fields can enhance your application but is not required.




- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
