TCUFC Staff Soccer Coach Tzeachten Chilliwack United Football Club (TCUFC) is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable Staff Coaches to join our technical staff and support player and coach development across the club. Role Overview The Staff Coach will work closely with the Technical Director (TD) and Sporting Director to: Lead and deliver high-quality on-field training sessions and games. Support and mentor volunteer and staff coaches. Assist with club programming, clinics, camps, leagues, and development programs. Provide technical and tactical guidance to players and coaches. Help ensure programming is delivered consistently with TCUFC's technical curriculum and development philosophy. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and player-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions. Support coaches with session planning, coaching feedback, and on-field development. Manage assigned training sessions and games. Adapt sessions to meet the needs of different players and groups. Communicate professionally with players, coaches, parents, and club staff. Represent TCUFC's technical standards and values on and off the field. Qualifications & Experience Required: Grassroots coaching certifications. Previous soccer coaching experience. Strong understanding of player development. Ability to work effectively with children and youth players. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Canada Soccer C-Diploma or higher. Experience working within a club environment. Experience coaching multiple age groups and levels. Experience supporting or mentoring other coaches.



Candidates who do not currently hold all required certifications may be considered if they are willing to complete the required courses as soon as possible. Schedule Schedule will be collaboratively created between the Technical Director and Sporting Director based on club programming needs and coach availability. Ideal availability: 3 days per week, Monday–Friday Saturday mornings / early afternoons Occasional additional availability for games, camps, clinics, or tournaments is an asset. Compensation Compensation is based on experience and certification level, with final compensation determined collaboratively between the Technical Director and Sporting Director. Expectations & Standards Staff Coaches are expected to: Be professional, punctual, reliable, and prepared. Create a protected, positive, respectful, and inclusive environment. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with players and families. Work collaboratively with TCUFC technical staff and coaches. Be receptive to feedback and committed to continued professional development. Follow TCUFC policies, procedures, technical direction, and coaching standards.
