We are seeking a Skilled Labourer/Operator for a manufacturing company in the Etobicoke area. The ideal candidate is versatile to work days, afternoons and night shifts and has experience with hand tools/power tools.

Monday-Friday ROTATING days, afternoon, nights

2 week rotation

Pay: $27.58/hour

Responsibilities

- Perform set up for cut-off, adjust all sets of side rollers, set up cut-off sensors to the proper length to ensure the proper length of pipe is cut, prepare a stencil to meet specification.
- Monitor all welds/pipe and mark any quality issues with each pipe for quality/repair welder to inspect.
- Fill flux hopper, clean up around your work station (Flux bags, empty drums, EXT.) and shovel milling chips throughout your shift.
- Remove coil card from next coil to be used and verify that the card info (width,



thickness, etc.) matches the info written on the coil as well as the production order
- Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a solid understanding of various trades including carpentry, masonry, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, and welding.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely.
- Must be able to work the rotational shifts - there are no exceptions
