Senior Print Project Planner:

The Senior Project Planner reports to the Planning Manager and coordinates complex, time-sensitive print and display projects from approved estimate and docket opening through production, installation or delivery. This role serves as the central operational link among Sales, Account Management, Estimating,Prepress, Procurement, Production, Installation, Logistics and outside suppliers.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, calm under pressure and comfortable

managing multiple priorities for demanding, fast-moving projects. They will take ownership of

schedules and follow-up, identify missing information early, communicate risks clearly and keep

projects moving without losing control of details. This is a Planning role focused on production

execution and coordination; it is not a Sales Assistant position.

Major Responsibilities:

· Review project handoffs and confirm that scope, quantities, versions, materials, finishing

requirements, delivery or installation details, approvals and deadlines are complete before

work proceeds.

· Open and maintain dockets in the MIS system (ePace) using current, approved

estimates and accurate production information.

· Develop and maintain realistic production workback schedules, coordinate priorities and

track milestones across departments and locations.

· Act as the day-to-day operational contact for assigned accounts, acknowledge requests

promptly and provide clear status updates to the account team.

· Coordinate proofs, samples, materials, purchasing requirements, outside services,

shipping and installation activities as applicable.

· Monitor production bottlenecks and other risks that may affect timing or cost.

· Escalate incomplete information, schedule conflicts, cost implications and deadline risks

early, with practical options for resolution.





· Facilitate changes after docket opening by documenting revised requirements, securing

the appropriate approvals and communicating changes to all affected departments.

· Lead or participate in project meetings for large, complex or high-priority work and

maintain clear action items and ownership.

· Maintain organized project records, email trails, specifications and approvals so that

information can be found and understood by others.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of project planning experience; production coordination, account operations or

project management experience in commercial print, large-format display, signage, retail

programs or a comparable manufacturing setting.

· Working knowledge of print production processes, materials and finishing. Experience

across large-format digital, small-format digital, lithography, fabrication and installation is an

asset.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines and

frequent changes.

· Experience using an MIS, ERP or production workflow system. Experience with ePace is

preferred.

· Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook and general computer skills.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize issues,

confirm decisions and document next steps.

· Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and a consistent record of follow-through.
