Siding Installer / Exterior Installer – Subcontractor

Sambor Roofing & Exteriors – Guelph / Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience and ability

Sambor Roofing & Exteriors is an established exterior contracting company serving Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for experienced siding installers / subcontractors to join our team.

We are looking for dependable installers who take pride in their workmanship, understand proper exterior installation practices, and can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

- Install vinyl siding and other exterior siding products
- Install soffit, fascia and aluminum capping
- Install eavestrough and downspouts when required
- Complete siding repairs and replacement work
- Install housewrap, insulation, flashing and exterior trims
- Measure, cut and properly install exterior materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and elevated work areas
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, homeowners and other trades

Requirements

- Previous siding installation experience required
- Experience with soffit, fascia and aluminum capping preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew




- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Own basic tools preferred
- Valid Working at Heights training
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights

Subcontractor Requirements

Subcontractors must be able to provide applicable documentation, including:

- WSIB coverage
- Liability insurance
- Working at Heights certification
- Required safety training
- Reliable vehicle and tools
