We're looking for a part-time Truck Driver to join our team. You'll transport our products safely and on time, mostly to customers in the GTA. We expect about 3 days of driving per week. The right person puts safety first, drives well, and manages their time effectively. This role keeps our products reaching customers on schedule and to a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks to deliver goods to set locations.
- Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage in transit.
- Help load and unload goods as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of trucking safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Good time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable navigating with GPS and maps.
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road, and able to lift, carry and move heavy items when loading and unloading.
- Strong communication skills with team members and customers.
- A clean driving record is essential.
