Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (HCM) to support the Human Capital Management stream of a large-scale ERP transformation program, with a focus on the Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance Module (Hybrid, Edmonton AB) (RQ00133 ).

Overview:

The Business Analyst will provide business analysis expertise across IT projects of varying complexity within the HCM stream, supporting design review, UAT, data validation/cutover, and stakeholder facilitation for the WFS Time and Attendance Module.

Must-Haves:

- 7+ years of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis experience
- Demonstrated business systems analysis experience for Cloud ERP solutions (SAP Cloud preferred)
- Experience with Workforce Software
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Experience with Data Validation and Cutover activities

Nice-to-Haves:

- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation (National Payroll Institute) or equivalent
- Degree or Skilled Certification
- Understanding of full-cycle payroll processing (time capture through pay distribution and reporting)
- Experience with time and attendance/payroll systems (Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP, etc.)
- Competent in Google Suite

Responsibilities:

- Updates documented current business processes for HR and related modules
- Develops UAT artifacts — test scripts, test cases, test conditions, expected results
- Assists the Module Lead in facilitating stakeholder meetings




- Provides recommendations on risk identification and mitigation
- Participates in data conversions and performs data validations for Mock Conversion and Cutover; writes SQL and other tools to support validation
- Executes tests during Integration Testing; leads UAT testing sessions to support business area testers
- Manages changing priorities to deliver within time, scope, and budget constraints
- Develops documentation to program standards and creates program artifacts
- Delivers to the agreed project plan, provides status updates, and proactively flags Risks & Issues to the Module Lead
